The shed also welcomes people interested in carving, cabinet work and other wood working related skills.

We would love to hear from you
We have a number of tools for you to use, our main focus being on woodturning. Our equipment includes lathes, bandsaw, drill press, scroll saw, various sanders as well as many of the hand tools you are likely to need. A key feature of our club is that one of our key members, Geoff has built a lathe stand for people who sit in a wheelchair, One of our new members who had been using a regular lathe has found her hobby took a new dimension with our adjustable lathe stand.
At the same time we aim to socialise and have fun. So, the club organise a monthly barbeque for its woodturner members which everyone enjoys. Of course, the more the merrier. Spouses and friendsand visitors are always encourage and welcome to join us.
We also organise participation at fairs from time to time and these events are proving a lot of fun. It is also good to sell a few wares and benefit the club in the process.
Our woodturner club is are also active in supporting local community groups and charities and organise various events to support our charities our choice.
